Psych!

Our favorite show is Psych. It is the the funniest show ever made. It's not crude or nasty and you will laugh your head off! Psych was the only reason we were sad to cancel cable, but Katie just found out that she can watch it on the USA website and now her joy is full. So you should all get hooked on it and tell us what you think. -Ransom

Arizona Trip Day 4

We had a nice and relaxing morning. We played games with my brothers and sister. Cord, Whitney, and Avery came over to say goodbye. It was to hang out with Cord. I really wish we lived closer to each other so we could hang out more. It was funny to watch Conrad and Avery play together. A couple times we even got them to kiss each other on the cheek!

We left a lot later then we planned because it was tough to leave. I miss my family a lot and we had a lot of fun but we had to come home and get to work again. Conrad was really good the whole trip home. Katie and I got a lot of time to make conversation while she cleaned up a lot of pictures on her laptop. All in all it was a very fun trip, one I wish we could make more often. -Ransom

Arizona Trip Day 3

Saturday was exciting because Ryan was going for 3rd or 4th place in the individual part of the tournament and Holden was going for 1st or 2nd. It started out great and they both won their matches in the morning. Later Ryan was wrestling a kid from Blue Ridge that was giving him a hard time. This kid had Ryan on his back and then Ryan got a switch and put him on his back and was  pinning him  and everyone was going nuts! He was squeezing this kid as hard as he could and there was almost a minute left. We were all sure it was over. Then the stupid ref stopped the match because Ryan's nose started to bleed just a little bit so h e wasn't able to pin the kid. We all wanted to kill that ref because that was the dumbest and most inconsiderate call in the history of the sport and now Ryan could not go on to the finals. We were all very angry. Holden ended up getting 2nd place.

That night we all wanted to go night tubing, but there were no sleds or tubes. The next couple of hours was spent looking for tubes and making phone calls to see who in town had extras. Finally, we got everything together, gassed up the cars, filled up the tires with air, and we were off. It was a full moon so it was a good night to go. It was not windy, but it was very cold and I guess Whitney does not have a drop of testosterone in her whole body so she was freezing the whole time. Conrad stayed behind to play with Grandma and the boys watching the Cardinals game. Cord and I were going off these super steep hills and by some stroke of luck neither one of us got hurt. Holden, Tanner, and Ryan were all going down in a chain and hitting all the jumps they could on the way down. Katie and I would go down together and try to miss all of the jumps we could because the ground was pure ice! You could always see David rolling after a crash or flying through the air about to land on his head He was the craziest. At the end, Saul and Kevin came to get Tanner, Holden, and Landin. Kevin just sat and watched, but Saul was going down these crazy big jumps! After each one we could see him hit the ground and then he just laid there like he was dead for a minute. Then he would get up and do it again!! It was pretty funny. We were about to leave until I realized that I lost my keys in the snow. I thought they were gone forever, but David with his super-night-vision found them in just a few minutes! -Ransom

Arizona Trip Day 2

Friday morning we got up and went to the Dome to watch Ryan and our cousin Holden Bigelow wrestle. Katie, Conrad, and I wore our Round Valley Wrestling shirts that have BIGELOW across the back that Ryan gave to us for Christmas. Ryan had to wrestle a black girl that had beaten a couple of guys already and he was a bit nervous. Everyone was giving him advice and cheering him on. It was funny to watch him wrestle her. He pinned her in less than one minute. During the whole tournament, no matter who was wrestling who, you could hear Grandma May yelling. She was the loudest one in the stands. She really loves to go watch her boys wrestle. As we watched we were teaching Katie about the rules and points because she had never been to a meet before (her favorite part was the white singlets! NOT!) Conrad had a lot of fun clapping and yelling just like everyone else around him! Round Valley placed 4th in the tournament as a team and Holden's school placed 2nd. It was really good to see Anne and Wes. Every time I saw Anne I would try to feel the baby kick, but it was stubborn. I am so excited that she is having a baby because I have wanted to be an uncle for a while now.

Sometimes there would be long breaks in the tournament and Katie was all of the sudden into antiques. I didn't even know that she liked them that much but she had a fire in her to go to the antique store so we went and found some interesting old things. Grandma Bigelow came with us and we actually had a hard time finding a store that was open. It had been a long time since I had seen my Grandma and it was good to hang out with her. The only downer was that Landin had thrown up in Grandma's car earlier that day and it still smelled really nasty! -Ransom

Arizona Trip Day 1

We had planned to go to Arizona right after Christmas, but we decided to wait to go until Ryan had his big wrestling tournament. We made the trip with Conrad when he was really little and he was terrible. He screamed the whole time and we had to listen to his favorite Blake Lewis song at least 350 times so we were pretty nervous about making the trip again. Conrad surprised us though. He was an angel the whole nine hours and thirty minutes of the drive down there! He was happy, talked, and slept a lot so that made the trip a whole lot better. I had brought a bottle of Benadryl just in case we really wanted him to sleep but we were glad we didn't have to use it. Our favorite place to stop and rest is Hole in the Rock. It's a nice grassy area where we can let Conrad run around. He had a lot of fun climbing and throwing rocks. We arrived in Eagar around 9:30pm. Conrad was wide-awake because he had slept all day so everyone stayed up late watching him say nonsense words, run around, and dance. -Ransom
