Thanksgiving Point

Yesterday morning we went to the Thanksgiving Point Animal Farm. Luckily there was no rain, just a little wind. It was fun to see Conrad run from animal to animal. He loved to stick his finger in, touch the animal, and quickly pull out his finger. He would do it over and over again. He thought he was pretty cool! He would laugh when an animal would give him kisses on his hand. The baby cow did give him a pretty big kiss on his face when he wasn't expecting it and that scared him a little bit. He loved running down this little hill that takes you to the milk cow. He would run down, stare at the cow, and then run back up. I think we spent most of our time there. His most favorite thing to do was ride the little pony. Ransom and I would take turns standing in line while the other one followed Conrad as he explored.  When it was finally his turn he sat on his pony like it was the coolest thing he had ever done. When it was time for the pony ride to end he was devastated and kept trying to run back to get on the pony. Needless to say we stood in the twenty minute line again so he could ride the pony again!

After, Amy Robison and I headed to Draper to see the Oh Sweet Sadie Art & Gift Show. It was a lot of fun to walk around and see everything they had to offer. It was a little disappointing because there was quite a bit of stuff that wasn't homemade. Our favorite finds were crocheted cowboy baby booties and delicious homemade salsa. Our next stop was Material Girls (a fabric store). They had a lot of cute fabric there, I just wish that I knew how to sew better!

We had to leave pretty quick to head back to Orem because my family was helping out with an Amazing Race Day Date for my cousin's prom group. We all were in charge of a different leg of the race, but we all stuck together as much as we could to watch the different activities they had to do. They had to make a toilet paper/newspaper/duct tape outfit, walk across state and university intersection and stop in the middle to spell their names with their bum, hit a bucket of golf balls, the boys got hit by paint balls (I think my mom had the best aim!), an obstacle course, etc. It poured rain the whole time.

We went home with our feet soaking wet. We decided to spend the night at home eating MiRanchito (I got a gift certificate for Easter!) and watching Yes Man while we all snuggled on the love sac under a warm blanket! -Katie

That's Ransom's kid alright, wanting to ride everything.

This boy is going to want some land one day...free to run and discover like a boy! I loved your blog and pictures, especially the one of Conrad on the horse:)
