Ransom and I have been busy the last couple of months trying to reorganize our house so that we can fit another person into our apartment. We have been busy painting beds, furniture we bought from my mom after she found it at a yard sale for Pebbles (thanks mom!), walls, etc. Ransom patiently helped me get everything painted even though I don't think he quite understands why I can't leave things the way they are, but he knows it makes me happy. Aside from new curtains, organizing a few more things, and hanging pictures back up on the wall, the kid's room is finally finished!
When we had Conrad, my family surprised us and had painted his room green and gotten everything ready for him to come home. It was a very sweet surprise to come home to. I was sad to see his green walls go because it always reminded me of that day, but Kelsie was pretty determined to see the green go and eventually I gave in because I wanted the crib to be green. I'm happy that my family won't have to come and get another room ready for me!
The crib is now Conrad's favorite place in the house. He loves to watch the mobile go round and round. I am pretty sure we will go through a set of batteries before the baby ever gets here! We just have to keep an eye on him to make sure he is laying down and not jumping around! -Katie

I am really loving this. Everything looks warm and cozy, just ready to fill with a sister for Conrad. I look back on how much you have grown as a woman and I am blessed to be your mom. Your childhood days of sleeping in your bedroom doorway are behind you... Love you all!
That is the cutest little nursery room Katie and I love the colors. I got tickled over the neatness of it. You'll find Conrad in the crib with his sister often...like Charles was when Randy was born! What memories. I love you both and I'm praying for a safe delivery. I'd give anything to be there with you; God will take care of you even better than me though♥
